CONSTRUCTION & SITES

Secure the site before the first delivery lands.

Plant, materials and copper walk off sites that are wide open at night. We secure the compound from day one and move the cover along as the build changes shape.

WHAT MATTERS HERE

Security that moves with the build.

A construction site is a different premises every month. Cover has to go up quickly, work without a finished building around it, and be redeployed as the site changes.

Protect plant and materials

Cameras over the compound, stores and fuel keep watch on the kit that is easiest to lift and most expensive to replace.

Know who is on site

Controlled gates and turnstiles record who came and went — useful for site safety and for settling any dispute later.

Cover the empty hours

Monitored alarms and cameras watch the site overnight and at weekends, when almost every loss happens.

Move it as the site changes

Temporary and redeployable systems shift with the programme, then hand over as permanent cover at completion.

The riskiest weeks are the earliest ones

A site is at its most exposed before there is a building to lock. The compound goes up, deliveries of plant and materials start arriving, and there is no permanent power, no permanent fencing in places, and often no permanent anything to mount equipment on.

That is precisely when copper, cable drums, power tools and small plant disappear. The answer is cover that does not depend on the building: solar or generator-fed towers and standalone units that watch the compound, the stores and the gate from day one and do not need the electrician to have been yet.

The financial damage is rarely just the value of what went. It is the week the programme slips while a replacement is sourced.

Cover that redeploys, then hands over

A construction site changes shape every month. The compound moves, the entrance relocates, scaffolding goes up and comes down. Fixed cover installed in week one is pointing at the wrong thing by week twelve, so we plan for it to be moved and move it as the programme dictates.

Towards completion the temporary system can often become the permanent one. Cameras and controllers that watched the build get repositioned, commissioned properly and handed over to the client with documentation — which is a considerably better outcome than stripping out one system and installing another a fortnight later.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Security for construction sites — your questions answered.

Can you secure a site with no mains power or internet?

Yes. Solar and battery-powered units with their own mobile connection are made for exactly this, and are usually how a site is covered until permanent services arrive. They can be relocated as the compound moves.

How quickly can you get cover on site?

Standalone units can typically be deployed within days of a survey, because they do not wait on power, cabling or a building. Tell us your start date and we will be straight about what we can have there for it.

Can the temporary system become the permanent one?

Often, yes, and it is worth planning for from the outset. Equipment used during the build can be repositioned and commissioned as the permanent installation at handover, with certificates and documentation for the client.

Who is watching it overnight?

That is your choice. Systems can simply record, alert a named person on site, or be connected to monitoring so an alarm is verified and escalated while the site is empty. Monitoring costs more and is usually what actually prevents a loss rather than documenting it.
